WHEN WAS CHRIST BORN INTO THIS WORLD?
CHRIST’S BIRTH
Spring was on its way and to the hills the shepherds went
Taking their sheep out to pasture where they were kept
Safe from natures harm and new fresh grass so sweet
For them to feast on and strength into their loins did sweep
At the crack of Dawn a wee baby was born one morn
And the glory of God The Lord around the shepherds shown
Heavenly Angels with great delight to them began to sing so fine
‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men’
So blessed the significance of this occurrence is and sublime for all time
For this signifies what Christ is to us, our exemplar so gentle and kind

AT the birth of the only begotten of God The Creator of the universe and only good the angels so sublime came down to shepherds in their fields below, feeding their sheep and keeping their watch over them for when they gave birth to their new born lambs, and announced that Christ’s birth into this world just took place at the beginning of that new spring day singing Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Truly The Son of God. So blessed is the significance of this occurrence and sublime for all time for, this signifies what Christ is to us, our exemplar so gentle and kind. The son of God was made flesh and dwelt amongst us.
ONLY at this time of the year do ewes give birth to lambs here on earth. So shepherds take their sheep out to the hills to pasture in the spring and they stay overnight for a number of days so they can be there for when the new lambs are born to make sure everything goes well at their births so they will not lose any lambs that might be born with problems and to give their moms comfort and care. God had things lined up and created in a way that all nature testifies of Him and His works down to the last detail, such as lambs being born in the spring signifying when Christ as a helpless baby would be born and at a time when day and night have equal time signifying that He The Father is equal with all of His children. God called the light day and the dark He called night and are marked off with 12 hours each. Even though the light and dark fluctuates around the year the day is basically marked off starting at six o’clock in the morning and night starts at six o’clock in the evening as you can see by our clocks. We have twelve hours in the day and twelve hours of night and when they are equal in light and dark they begin anew their annual round. In Geneses God said He established twelve hours of day and twelve hours of night. And Christ said ‘are there not twelve hours in the day?’ We have twelve months in the year marked by four seasons. There are twelve different musical tones or notes and twelve different basic colors in the rainbow and sun light, twelve tribes of humans and twelve commandments, ten showing how to live the two greatest commandments. Heavenly Father’s number of completion is twelve and the number seven is Heavenly Mother’s number of completion.
AT the beginning of a spring day a light for the world was born bringing new life and joy into this world.
KJV-Luke 2: 1-20
1. And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar
Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
2. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
3. And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
4. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto
the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage
of David:)
5. To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she
should be delivered.
7. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and
laid Him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
8. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch
over their flock by night.
9. And, lo, the angel of The Lord came upon them, and the glory of The Lord shone
round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great
joy, which shall be to all people.
11. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ The Lord.
12. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling
clothes, lying in a manger.
13. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising
God, and saying,
14. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
15. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the
shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing
which is come to pass, which The Lord hath made known unto us.
16. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a
manger.
17. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told
them concerning this child.
18. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the
shepherds.
19. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
20. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they
had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
KJV-Matthew 2: 1-12
1. Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king,
behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2. Saying, Where is He that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen His star in the
east, and are come to worship Him.
3. When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with
him.
4. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he
demanded of them where Christ should be born.
5. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
6. And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda:
for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
7. Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what
time the star appeared.
8. And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young
child; and when ye have found Him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship
Him also.
9. When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the
east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
10. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his
mother, and fell down, and worshipped Him: and when they had opened their treasures,
they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
12. And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they
departed into their own country another way.
WE notice that the wise men saw the star in the east which was the sign of Christ’s birth, It does not say that the star guided them from the east to Jerusalem day and night only that after talking to king Herod and found that Christ would be born in Bethlehem, they left Jerusalem and then they saw the star and it guided them to the home where Christ was using it like a compass.
The AchHummer’s
Birthday Poem for Christ
A wee Heavenly Baby was born to man below
To help guide their way that they may always know
Of Heaven and purity and all of Heavens ways
Of how we can be saved from sin, Heaven be praised
He grew up strong following His Father’s will
He never faltered and gained His Father’s seal
He showed us the way to Heaven to help us through
He was translated then resurrected, we must be too!
To make it in the flesh through those Pearly Gates
Christ said to seek God early, now before it is too late
As a new born babe no gifts could he give but his birth
So, as the Wise Men did let us give gifts to him with mirth
Glory Alleluia! Lift your voices up high, and praises give
Give gifts of praise and your good fruits to him and live!
