IN SORROW FOR HUMAN TRAGEDY

We would like to express our sorrow to all of our family and extended families and friends at this time for all of those in the dreadful recent shootings that took so many lives and to all of their families. This is such a tragedy and how it effects so many lives is horrific! It so saddens us that such things ever happen and in an effort to do our part in helping to put a stop to everything of this sort and after much contemplation the only thing we feel we can do at this time which is and always has been the answer to all violence is to listen to and adhere to what Jesus taught in great love in the fullness of His heart and that was to have charity towards all people. He has told us to love our enemies and do good to those who despitefully use us. He lived this to a perfection like He always with all of His commandments since the beginning of time and has never deviated from it in the least. He has said if we do the same we can be with Him. If we truly love Him we will listen to Him and do what He says for He wants more than ever to have peace on earth and good will toward all men. And He has laid out the perfect way for us to obtain this.

KJV-1 John 2:24-25
24. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in The Son, and in The Father
25. And this is the promise that He hath promised us, even eternal life.

KJV-1 John 2: 7-8, 13, 24-25

JESUS MY EXEMPLAR AND HELP

How often did Jesus say to turn the other cheek?
And that we should love all in peace and be meek?
How often did I listen and how well did I obey?
How deep did it sink in so I could live it each day?
He said to learn to love my enemies and all of my kin
And that if I do I can grow and always be with Him.

WHAT CHARITY IS

KJV-1 Corinthians 13: 4-7
4. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, thinketh no evil; 6. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but
rejoiceth in the truth;
7. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

WHAT CHARITY IS NOT

KJV-1 Corinthians 13: 1-3
1. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding
brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I
have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have
not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

AS you can see, without charity we are nothing! If we want to be something and do not want to be left without being anything we have to be full of charity. Without honesty we cannot have true charity. True charity is being true and honest in all things to Heavenly Father, yourself and others for it ‘thinketh’ no evil.
